Nature. This is my inspiration - in the broadest sense of the term. This is my truest, purest, and most challenging inspiration. Since my descent into the depth of the details of macro photography, I have forgotten to look at the nature around me as a whole. As I began to think of this many days ago, I realized that I find myself noticing, at every turn, the beauty, complex simplicity, simple complexity, and the power of the world around me; however, as of late, I have also noticed the struggle this force, which used to a reckoning force, is having to survive. Even in my own back yard, nature is suffering - although despite my best efforts. Still, though, even in her weakened state, she fights on, and that in itself is an inspiration to me!
Of course, there are many very talented, and simply glorious, nature photographers here on deviantART, photographing everything from wild animals and birds to the most breathtaking *scapes (land, water, and sky). In this feature, I have chosen to stick to my favorite, and the most basic, elements of "nature," which are trees and forests, water, and sky. Nature, especially "the woods," is what inspires me in life - not just in my own photography (my watchers know that I love to photograph flowers, bugs, butterflies, animals, and the like...), but in EVERY aspect. So, I worked on putting together this feature to honor what rejuvenates, refreshes, and revives me (as well as the awesome artists, from amateur to professional, who created the pieces). I hope you'll enjoy!!
(I have put this feature into a collection in my favorites gallery, as well. I request that if you do bookmark the collection link or collect the entire collection [that is not as redundant as it sounds, I hope...], PLEASE visit the artists, or at least the featured works, to
and/or comment on the original image or artists' page. Thank you!!
